Friday, we went out to Malawi Parish where there is an orphanage and the Mlambe Primary school. There we met the group from Colorado that was teaching at the school. The children, as usual, were adorable. There was a group of young boys that were following me around as I walked around the school and village. They ended up in at least 6 of my photos, but I’ve kept the cutest ones (the photos, not the kids).

After Malawi Parish, we went to St Barnabas to see their brick making operation. They had quite the fast operation going, as the set the mud into wooden frames, then ran and dumped the new bricks into a place in the sun to dry. After the bricks are dry, they will be stacked and a fire lit in the middle of the stack. I believe that they were trying to make more than 10,000 bricks for a new building.

After lunch at St Barnabas, we were on our way to Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital. At the hospital, we had the official hand over of all the medical supplies that our group had carried from the States.
